This Fall, we will return to Kibera to begin work on improving the slum.
We have three goals to accomplish before and during this trip to Kibera:

* Our first goal is to raise $10,000 by September 2007 , when we will be returning to Kibera to begin community improvement projects. This amount will finance the building of several toilet facilities with water tanks, and will allow construction of over 200 meters of concrete drainage lines. All materials will be secured locally, and labor will consist of Kibera residents. This means the money you donate will stay in the slum! Click Here to help us reach this goal!

* We have a second goal of developing and implementing one sustainable economic opportunity program on the ground in Kibera. This will allow Kibera residents to gather revenue on a continual basis without our assistance; revenue they can use to raise themselves out of poverty!

* Our final goal this summer is to find educational sponsorship for 50 Kibera youth, providing them with school fees for either Primary or Secondary education. These Kibera youth will have a much better chance at a healthy life if they receive a basic education!
